The dating scene among four young African Americans is examined in this wellintended yet unfocused romantic comedy Couple A are Brandy Campbell and Montel Cundieff who realize that they have a chance at true love Couple B are their friends Adina Parker and Clyde Torry who try to sabatoge Brandy and Montels happiness in order to save them from being sprung in love with each other The camaraderie between the couples is funny some of the time but the humor often turns from vulgar to juvenile and scenes drag on a bit Cundieff and Campbell are too bland to carry over the used plot but Torry is a comedic find who makes the film tolerable
